The 66th annual Grammy Awards have all the nominees and performances set for Sunday, Feb. 4. The Grammy’s announced comedian, Trevor Noah will host the show for the fourth consecutive year. Noah is also a Grammy nominee this year for best comedy album for ‘I Wish You Would.’

Trevor Noah to Host Grammy Awards

The former Daily Show host is the first Grammy host to be nominated for a Grammy in the same year since Queen Latifah in 2005. The television host won a Primetime Emmy this year for outstanding talk series for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He walked away from the show this past year to pursue other projects. The show has still not replaced the host following his exit.

Music’s Biggest Night will feature the biggest names performing like Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo. As of Sunday, three more performers were announced: Travis Scott, Luke Combs, and Burna Boy.

New Performers Added

The three newly added performers are all nominated for Grammys this year. Scott is nominated for best rap album for Utopia. This will be his tenth nomination, but has yet to win ever. Combs is nominated for best country solo performance for his version of Tracy Chapman’s classic “Fast Car.” Chapman performed the song herself at the Grammy’s in 1989, so maybe the two will collaborate on the performance this year. This is Comb’s seventh nomination, but he has yet to win. He was previously nominated for Best New Artist but lost to Dua Lipa.

Burna Boy is nominated for four Grammys this year including Best Global Music Album (I Told Them…), Best African Music Performance (“City Boys”), Best Global Music Performance (“Alone”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Sittin’ on Top of the World”). He won his first Grammy in 2021 for best global music album (Twice as Tall).
