From Ralph Pagano's Inspiring Journey to Life Tips from Roy Assad
Welcome to The Balancing Act’s South Florida edition!
First, it’s time to get a delicious taste of New York, courtesy of a grower-owned company dedicated to introducing flavorful apple varieties to consumers. Crunch Time Apple Growers is a collective of 145 family farms that cover New York State growing the best apples and fruit in the country.
Next, meet Mystic Michaela, a fourth-generation psychic medium who specializes in reading auras. Residing in South Florida, Michaela runs a thriving psychic and spiritual practice where she conducts aura readings and more.
A few months ago, we shared our dear friend chef Ralph Pagano’s story of survival. After suffering severe burns in a kitchen explosion in Bimini in June 2017, Ralph discussed the lessons he learned and how his priorities have changed since. Now, the chef is focused on helping other burn survivors at Jackson Health, where he was treated. Take a look at Ralph’s work with Jackson’s Burn Survivor Support Group, where burn patients talk about their experience and help each other heal.
Life coach Roy Assad has helped professionals for more than 20 years. As founder and managing partner of The Human Capital Group, Roy empowers and transforms people, teams, and organizations, resulting in profound positive changes both in and out of the office. Now, Roy is at The Balancing Act studio ready to share his secrets to a great relationship and how to overcome doubt.
Plus, we’re learning about narcolepsy, a chronic neurologic condition in which the brain is not able to control normal sleep-wake cycles. We’ll hear one woman’s emotional journey to get diagnosed, as well as from Dr. Raj, a pulmonary critical care sleep specialist who educates us on the facts, symptoms, and how to get an appropriate diagnosis for narcolepsy.
Buckle up! We're exploring two unique destinations – Turks & Caicos and Calle Ocho – with celebrity chef Ralph Pagano.
Home to the best beach in the world, breathtaking hues from inviting waters, and legendary diving, snorkeling, and fishing, Turks and Caicos beckons all to an undiscovered Caribbean.
Joining celebrity chef Ralph Pagano is James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, who recently opened a restaurant, Café La Tova, on Calle Ocho.
