Prom for Deserving Kids, a New Social Network and Delish Dressings
Today on The Balancing Act, we start out with a new social network available exclusively to college students. ePEERS is a safe, supportive social forum for college students. Find out why this new platform is helping students from around the country connect peer-to-peer. ePEERS is a great resource for incoming freshmen—and any college student who needs advice, guidance and support.
Speaking of supporting students, we attend a very special event created to make cancer survivors and sufferers from age 12 to 19 feel special. A Prom to Remember helps turn 16-year-old Madison White’s dream into a reality not once, but twice.
Plus, we’re in the kitchen with Chef Stuart O’Keeffe for a savory taste of the Mediterranean. He’s whipping up some healthy summer salad dressings courtesy of olive oil and vinegar from Star Fine Foods that you can store conveniently in mason jars.
On this special edition, we're focusing on issues affecting today's youth—as seen and produced through the eyes of The Balancing Act's production interns.
