Must See Movies Coming Out in 2024

Dune: Part Two

Dune: Part Two is set to release March 1. The film has a star-studded cast including Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Josh Brolin, and Austin Butler. This Denis Villeneuve sci-fi sequel is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The project was previously delayed last year due to the Hollywood strikes. The second part of this film will finish the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s original Dune novel, but Villeneuve plans on expanding the franchise, “I will say, there are words on paper,” the filmmaker said.

Road House

Jake Gyllenhaal is the most ripped he’s been for this readaptation of the 1989 film starring Patrick Swayze. The Nightcrawler actor plays an ex-UFC fighter who takes down his enemies with exhilarating MMA skills. A small teaser was released last year and fans are already excited to see it on the big screen. Doug Liman, who directed ‘The Bourne Identity’ is the director, while Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, and UFC star Conor McGregor co-star along side Gyllenhaal. Road House releases on March 8.

Inside Out 2

One of Pixar’s most successful movies is getting a sequel later this year. Inside Out 2 is set to release on June 14. In the first installment, we followed the mind of young Riley while on her move to the Midwest. Now in Inside Out 2 we will enter the mind of Riley as a teenager in San Francisco and facing a whole new emotion, Anxiety, who is voiced by Maya Hawke. All of the other emotions Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear are set to return.

Deadpool Sequel

A fan-favorite Marvel superhero is getting a sequel. Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool will star alongside with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine for the first time since their long-lampooned X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This Deadpool sequel has been in talks for a long time, but director Shawn Levy who has worked with both Reynolds (Free Guy) and Jackman (Real Steel) brought them back together. The film is produced by 20th Century Fox has been tight lipped since it was revealed to be coming soon. Not much is known about the plot, but fans are already speculating what could be in store. Deadpool 2 will be the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie released in 2024.

Beetlejuice 2

Tim Burton’s classic movie Beetlejuice is set for a sequel later this year! The perfect movie to get us into spooky season. Beetlejuice 2 will feature original cast members Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara. Also joining will be newcomer Jenna Ortega, who worked on the Netflix series ‘Wednesday’ with Burton, and Willem Dafoe. It’s been over 35 years since Beetlejuice was on the big screen, so fans are really excited to see this! No trailer has been released yet for the Beetlejuice 2, expect one to drop very soon. The movie is set to release on September 6.
