Musical Tells the Story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan
The Balancing Act Goes behind the scenes with the Broadway hit On Your Feet!, the musical based on the lives and music of 26-time Grammy Award-winning husband-and-wife team Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan. The musical profiles the two people who leaned on their heritage, talent and each other to make The Miami Sound Machine an international sensation.
Olga Villaverde sits down with the Estefans to hear about how their love story became a smash Broadway hit. As the show begins its national tour, we meet Christie Prades, the Miami native who is playing Gloria. Amber and Christie tour Miami and belt out a few of the show’s iconic tunes.
