Clinical trials—they offer new and potentially life-changing medicines that are tested by top physicians for subsequent approval by the FDA—ultimately helping those who need them the most. An important research study for Alzheimer’s is currently taking place at Charter Research in Central Florida. Alzheimer’s is the 5th leading cause of death in adults 65 and older and there’s currently no cure. But they’re working hard to change that.
