We’re all familiar with care packages from loved ones. Well, it all started with international humanitarian giant-CARE. Joyce Adolwa, Director of education at CARE joins us to discuss how CARE is giving women all over the world the tools they need to overcome poverty..and how you can help. Founded in 1945, today CARE is stronger and bigger than ever. In the 2014/2015 time period, CARE had 880 projects in 90-countries, helping a total of 72-million people. Amazing! And women, children and their improve basic education, increase access to quality health care and expand economic opportunity for all. Heat oven to 350°. Spread the pecans across the surface of a sheet pan with sides and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until they are fragrant and have darkened in color. Once done, cool and then chop them and reserve a few whole pecans for the top of the loaves. Leave the oven on at 350° and grease two, 9”x5” loaf pans with olive oil.
