Founded by Janine Stiene (MA, CCC-SLP, TSHH), a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicap, and trained Myofunctional Therapist, Long Island Speech’s mission is to provide exemplary speech/language and feeding services for each of their patients.
Janine is also the Founder and CEO of Spot Pal, the first patented tongue-training appliance designed to teach proper lingual resting posture and support the elimination of tongue thrust. It also discourages noxious oral habits, including thumb/finger sucking, tongue sucking, and nail-biting, and helps retain dental occlusal stability. Janine saw a missing piece in the world of Myofunctional Therapy and knew that Spot Pal was the answer.
