“Everything Is Better Together.” AND “Great Alone. Better Together”
Smart Phones”, “Social Media”…. These are some of the biggest buzz words of our time. And they’ve changed the way we all live, learn and interact. But technology has its pros and cons, and one of the potential cons – especially for the younger generation – is less interaction with others. And when that happens, the technology really isn’t that smart OR social after all. Think for example about music. One of our greatest sources of enjoyment has gone from very social to very isolating, solely because of the changes in our technology. And while we’re tuning into our personal music devices, we’re also more tuned out. Enter a new music sharing technology from a country where sharing and social interaction are ancient traditions that still thrive today: the aiFi Intelligent Speaker, created in Sweden. aiFi speakers are the new way to share music interactively.
On this episode, Beth Troutman tells her story; Christina Nicholson embarks on an adventure to Orlando with her family; and former football player Marc Bouniconti shares his journey.
Three decades later, Marc Buoniconti, a quadriplegic, visits The Balancing Act to talk about his life, his mission, and his goal to one day walk again.
The Balancing Act's host Christina Nicholson and her family are embarking on a fun-filled vacation to Orlando, Fla., also known as the "theme park capital of the world."
