There's no place like home
Developed from the ever-popular MGM screenplay and reconceived for the stage, this new production of The Wizard of Oz is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic. Audiences will still be able to recognize all their favorite characters and sing along to the beloved songs from the Oscar-winning movie score, but they can also expect a few surprises along the way.
Join The Balancing Act correspondent, Amber Milt, as she explores the show’s costume shop in Baltimore, MD and meets the young woman who will be touring the country as Dorothy. Viewers will see the transformation as the native Maryland actress is fitted into her iconic costume for the first time and explains how the U.S. tour has truly made her appreciate the line “there’s no place like home”.
