Improving the Cost and Quality of Oral Care – with Wellness Oral Care
Turns out, the cost of a great smile is a lot less than the cost of not doing a few simple things every day. The importance of dental and orthodontic health can’t be understated. In fact, certain conditions like Cardiovascular Disease, Osteoporosis, Diabetes and even Alzheimer’s disease are very closely connected with dental health. This episode of The Balancing Act takes a look at the latest dental tools that can make your family’s oral healthcare routine simple, affordable and effective, thanks to the award-winning, dentist-recommended Wellness Oral Care line. The show also reveals the answers to a few simple questions: How often should you brush? How often – and how – do you properly floss? What’s the best type of toothbrush to use – standard, or electric? How clean is your toothbrush? Learn the answers and how taking care of your smile can save you thousands of dollars – and frowns – down the road! Visit http://wellnessoralcare.com/ for even more information.
Planning Your Next Road Trip – with TravelCenters of America
There are countless, worthy destinations for a family road trip in the U.S., not to mention the beautiful photo opportunities: the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas on Route 66, Elvis’ gun collection in Sparks, Nevada, or the world’s biggest soup can in Napoleon, Ohio, just to name a few. Wherever your next road trip takes you, make sure to find a TA or Petro Travel Stopping Center along the way. TA and Petro Stopping Centers is the largest full-service travel center company in the United States, serving professional drivers and motorists alike. Improving Children’s Literacy and Health – with The Nemours Foundation
Started in 2005 thanks to funding from The Nemours Foundation, Nemours BrightStart! Program is designed to address reading challenges among children – an issue that affects not only their success, but their health. The mission is to promote reading success and prevent reading failure for all children, but with a focus on birth to age eight. To accomplish this, the program provides parents with free access to recommended books; hundreds of easy, fun, at-home reading activities; a list of pre-reading milestones and even advice from Nemours’ early literacy experts. For all of these free materials, visit www.ReadingBrightStart.org.
Returning to College the Right Way – with West Texas A&M

Adding New Ingredients to the Good Ol’ Cobb Salad – with Maruchan, Inc.

Ready in just four minutes, the company’s Yakisoba Jalapeno Cheddar noodles add an unexpected kick. They’re just one in a whole new line of authentic Japanese, stir fry flavors. Tender, hearty and filled with vegetables, the everyday yet gourmet ramen noodles are anything but what you’re used to.
