(POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – PR LOG — July 23, 2015) The award-winning show The Balancing Act® is kicking off a special series with the Non GMO Project to bring attention to the growing movement of consumers standing up for a sustainable, transparent food system. The Non GMO Project will make an appearance in the first segment of a multi-part series, “From Farm to Label.”
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers and providing verified non-GMO choices.
The Balancing Act® is proud to partner with the Non-GMO Project as both organizations share a mission to educate and empower women looking for ways to make safe, healthy choices for themselves and their loved ones.
“As a mother myself, I was deeply inspired to bring this education to our viewers as we know that the overwhelming research and surveys indicate that people want to understand the facts about their food so that they can make the best decisions for the health of themselves and their families.”-Becky Kaiser, Senior Producer.
Initial topics that will be covered throughout the series include; “Preparing A Non-GMO Holiday Meal,” “From The Crop To The Cup,” “You Are What Your Food Eats,” “Building A Better Breakfast,” “Non-GMO On The Go,” “Proper Pet Nutrition,” and “Beauty Goes Beyond The Skin: What You Put On Is Also In.”
“We are excited to bring the series and education to life with the Non-GMO Project and believe that their verification seal will give our viewers the confidence and peace of mind when navigating through the aisles of the grocery store.”- Andrea Kraft Director of Programming.
