Corn Oil reduces your cholesterol.
Some people think olive oil is the only heart-healthy cooking oil, but a study published in 2015 in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology found that corn oil helps lower cholesterol more than extra virgin olive oil. Corn oil has four times more cholesterol-blocking plant sterols than olive oil, three times as many as vegetable oil and nearly one and a half times more than canola oil. Plant sterols are plant-based micronutrients that reduce the absorption of cholesterol into the gut, blocking bad cholesterol (LDL) from entering the blood stream.
