Rosacea is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory skin condition that’s estimated to affect over 16.5 million people in the U.S. Learn about treatment options for managing rosacea, including a new FDA-approved oral medication called EMROSI™ (minocycline hydrochloride), specifically for the treatment of pimples and bumps of rosacea.

EMROSI is a prescription medicine for the treatment of adults with pimples and bumps (inflammatory lesions) of rosacea. EMROSI should not be used for the treatment of infections, and it is not known if EMROSI is safe and effective in children. Do not take EMROSI if you are allergic to any tetracycline medicines. The most common side effects of EMROSI include stomach upset or burning (dyspepsia) after eating or drinking.
