Summer is the perfect time of year to bring the family together to create a toothsome barbecue feast!  Food Network personality Ingrid Hoffmann and her two “junior chefs” join The Balancing Act to prepare a tropical chicken skewers recipe with help from Star Fine Foods, the world’s trusted experts on Mediterranean food. The recipe calls for a tamarind-balsamic glaze, which is made using Star’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Glaze.

Hoffman’s skewers recipe is equal parts simple and delicious! Start with cubed chicken, olive oil, oregano, garlic, rosemary, and a pinch of salt. Then, slice up some vegetables, including red peppers and onions, and add all the ingredients onto wooden skewers. Before you grill, drizzle olive oil onto each skewer. Other easy-to-prepare recipes Hoffman recommends are chicken fajitas and pork roast. Whichever dish you decide to try yourself, you’re sure to become a grilling superstar!
