Today marks the beginning of Customer Service Week, an international celebration of the importance of the customer service industry and the people within it.

It was first recognized by the U.S. Congress in 1992 and since then, companies across the country and throughout the world have joined in to show their appreciation for the employees that serve and support customers on a daily basis.

Do you have a favorite server or bartender at the restaurant around the corner? Does your company have a dedicated Customer Service department? If so, and you have the opportunity to thank someone for their contribution, this is the week to do it!
