Broadway Across America Cinderella – Behind the Scenes of the Broadway Production

The Balancing Act’s Amber Milt takes viewers behind the scenes of this bold and lush production of the classic story. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella has been re-imagined with a contemporary perspective celebrating female empowerment. Thanks to an innovative book written by Douglas Carter Beane. Producer Jill Furman wanted a Cinderella of the 21st century and put together a creative team and talented cast to bring her vision to life.

“Ella” is a socially minded woman who represents strength and kindness while making her own choices so she can find her happy ending.  It’s a role that resonated with the actress that plays her.  Paige Faure shares her views on balancing her life both on and off stage with a toddler in tow. As for Andy Huntington Jones aka Prince Topher….he’s surrounded by strong women who are helping him realize his dream. He may be prince of the entire kingdom, but he needs a bit of guidance and inspiration to realize his full potential.
