We are excited to celebrate #RareDiseaseDay this February 29th, 2020. For this, we’ll be sharing our favorite patient stories to help raise awareness and give a voice to those who need one. Join us on this day as we recognize patients like little Mylah, who suffers from Kawasaki Disease.
A specialized, recurring segment on The Balancing Act, Behind the Mystery is devoted to rare and genetic diseases. It highlights the emotional, scientific, and medical aspects associated with rare and genetic diseases. Its goal is to expand awareness for rare and genetic diseases through partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, while giving voices to the patients, families, and advocates affected via our national television platform airing on Lifetime.
