You might know her from Mean Girls or from her latest venture with the White Lotus. She is known for her distinctive voice, witty humor, and unforgettable performances. If you haven’t figured it out by now, it’s fine. We are only talking about the QUEEN: Jennifer Coolidge.

Coolidge is an actress, comedian, and overall icon. Her career has spanned several decades, and she has become a beloved figure in pop culture. Throughout her career, she has also changed way that the world views aging, sexuality and late success, which is something we can all appreciate. Taboo topics for her don’t exist – and we love that about her. And as the years go by, it seems like people love her more and more.

Nowadays, it almost feels as though we are seeing a new era of Coolidge. She’s everywhere. Her references are still alive. Yet, she continues to add to what she brings to the world – and we are all eating up. In some way, it’s as though we are entering a “Jenaissance.” Yes, that’s it – except it’s not an entire rebirth because her presence has been a constant in our lives (whether we realize it or no.)

As we immerse ourselves in the wonder of the Jenaissance, let’s dive a bit deeper on what are some of the things that make Jennifer Coolidge so unique. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget to “bend and snap” while writing this.

One-liners to die for

Coolidge’s ability to deliver hilarious one-liners is what captivated the audience from the start. Her timing is impeccable too, which makes her way with words seem magical. From her role as Stifler’s mom in the American Pie franchise to her portrayal of Paulette in Legally Blonde, she has crafted some of the most memorable and authentic comedic characters of the past few decades.

She developed a comedic style that is unique and often involves her using her voice and facial expressions to tell the story of her characters. Her humor is both silly and sophisticated; she has a way of making even the most absurd situations seem relatable. Belly laughs usually follow after she lands her jokes.

Ranges for days

Her performances are always entertaining, and audiences can’t help but be drawn to her magnetic presence on screen. Coolidge has also demonstrated her vast range as an actress.

She has played a variety of roles over the years, from comedic characters to more dramatic roles. She has shown that she is capable of delivering nuanced performances that are compelling and even at times, comforting. She exudes an energy that feels familiar from those of people we have come in contact with in our real lives.

Jennifer Coolidge welcomes change – and fights for it too

Coolidge’s career symbolizes the changing landscape of Hollywood and our deep rooted views about women’s bodies and aging. As a woman in the entertainment industry, she has faced many challenges and obstacles, including gender bias and ageism. However, she has persevered and continued to thrive, demonstrating that women can be successful , sexy, and influential at any age. She has embraced her sexuality in her performances, and her characters often give off a sense of power and confidence that is inspiring to watch, and essential to the future of women actors and women in any industry.

If all of that wasn’t enough to shake up our world, Coolidge is an advocate for diversity in Hollywood. She has spoken out about the lack of representation in the industry and has used her platform to raise awareness about the need for more diverse stories to be told. Coolidge has also been a champion for women’s rights and has advocated for greater equality in the workplace. She has been a vocal supporter of the Time’s Up movement and has called for greater accountability for those who engage in sexual harassment and misconduct.

Jennifer’s contributions to popular culture have been immense, and her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of performers and entertainers, and women of all ages.

So, what do we do with the Jennaissance galore we are experiencing? Well, if we take a page from her book, we must stay fabulous, honey.

Love,
