In 2016, the CHEST Foundation and Allergy & Asthma Network joined forces to raise awareness around the severity of difficult-to-control Asthma. The campaign — “Asthma: Take Action. Take Control.” — aims to aid millions of Americans suffering from persistent asthma. The campaign educates patients and families about the most current treatment options, highlighting the importance of referral to specialists to improve patient outcomes. This year, they are working to complete a campaign that includes severity assessment tools, shared decision making tools, and patient testimonials.
