'Sewing' the Holiday Seeds...

The holidays are here and to make the celebrations special, most of us put decorations high on our agendas. This can be costly-- but Hancock Fabrics is going to give some very affordable tips on DIY projects.

The Balancing Act dedicated an entire episode to honor the American family and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Hancock Fabrics was there to cover the latest craft and interior decorating cutting edge trends!

Now normally when we think of the holidays, it’s followed with thinking about spending! How about this year having the mindset-- Thinkin’ of saving a few Lincoln’s! Hancock Fabrics gives some great tips in helping show off festive and affordable table coverings—using Fall fabrics.

TIP ONE:

Measure all your tables you’ll need to cover-- the length and width. If you have a round table, you’ll want to measure the diameter. Add to that your drop, which is how far down off the edge of the table you want the table cloth to drape. For a table cloth that goes to the ground, add thirty inches. Multiply the drop by two and add it to the length and the width.

TIP TWO:

Once you’ve selected your fabrics, add another inch or two to each measurement so that you can make a hem. After you’ve ordered and received your selections, hem the edge—and there you have it! A nice fitting tablecloth that you can use for years to come.

Hancock Fabrics doesn't "hem-haw" when it comes to great ideas on making your home beautiful for the Thanksgiving holiday, and holidays to come. They also won't leave your "fabric hanging" when they offer solutions to save you not only time-- but money too!
